What is the \u2018Find\u2019 task?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u2018Find\u2019 task can be used to find content in a data table. The task creates a new column in the output table, that houses the results.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Find\u2019 task is useful tool to analyse and review the contents of a data table.<\/p>\n

How to use the \u2018Find\u2019 task?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The important fields in the \u2018Find\u2019 task are<\/p>\n

  1. Select Table<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Use this dropdown menu to select the table which has the data entries you would like to find.<\/p>\n

    1. Column Name for Match Status<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Use this field to type in the name of the column that will house the results in the output table. In this column, the entries that have the content to be found, will be indicated as \u2018TRUE\u2019, and all other entries will be indicated as ‘FALSE’.<\/p>\n

      1. Custom Delimiter for Multiple Entries<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Use this this checkbox to indicate if you would like to have multiple matches separated with a custom delimiter.<\/p>\n

        For example, searching for \u2018p\u2019 in the word \u2018apple\u2019 leads to \u2018TRUE;TRUE\u2019.<\/p>\n

        1. Don\u2019t Duplicate Same Matches<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Use this this checkbox to indicate if you would like to not duplicate same matches.<\/p>\n

          For example, avoiding duplicates, the search for \u2018p\u2019 in the word \u2018apple\u2019 leads to \u2018TRUE\u2019, and not to \u2018TRUE;TRUE\u2019.<\/p>\n
